Incorporating Your Branding Into Your Photos

If you’re an entrepreneur or business owner who is currently working on a brand strategy or a re-brand you’re probably thinking about hiring a professional photographer to help create content to bring your vision to life.

Creating a strong brand identity isn’t limited to fonts, graphics, logos and colours, photography can also be a powerful tool to when creating your branding strategy! As a photographer, I always ask business and branding clients to share with me their vision for the photography session to ensure we stay true to their branding style as well as where they are planning on using the photos (Ex. About me page on their website, social media, etc.)

Here is how you can incorporate your branding into your photography session:

Location - The location tells a story, so does your branding! Therefore it’s important to choose a location that works for your brand story and is useful to the content you’re trying to create. Choosing a location with the opportunity for a variety of settings is always a bonus!

Outfits - You can incorporate your brand a few different ways with this for example you can wear something with your logo on it, wear your uniform if your have one or choose to wear outfits in your branding colours.

Camera Settings and Post Editing - Photographer’s all have their own style such as light and airy, moody, vibrant, etc. It's important to know what photography style goes with your brand to ensure the photos are taken with the right settings and edited to fit the look of photos you’d like.
